Drawing from other known modalities like hypnosis, NLP, CBT, and EFT, Integrative Change Work is a human-centric process to equip and empower people to make change for themselves on an emotional, mental, and physical level. While this is not one technique and rather a body of work compiled by Melissa Tiers, Integrative Change Work looks to educate people on how their brains work, identify the activation of unconscious patterns or habits, calm the nervous system, and recode the brain to stop the symptoms of any habit that is no longer serving.

During a session, client and practitioner together will get curious to identify the activation or environmental trigger(s) causing an unwanted habitual symptom. We will then work to neutralise these environmental activators to begin calming the nervous system and rewiring the neural pathways towards a preferred / desired outcome. This is done using a series and sequence of different techniques, which can then be used repetitively outside of sessions to create a more lasting affect. Sessions may change and be nuanced to keep the experience new and exciting for the brain which has proven to have better results. Different techniques can include strategic questions, visualisation, breathing exercises, light hypnosis, and somatic exercises.
